I was born and raised here in Des Moines. My boyfriend, Patrick, and I own an online BMX bicycle shop and sell pro level flatland bicycles and parts to customers all over the world. I love animals and have three cats at home and two at our warehouse. I have a vocal music degree and have sung in operas in the past. I also received my Juris Doctorate from Drake Law School in 2005 and am a member of the Iowa Bar, hence the name Legal Nightmare. When I went to my first derby bout, I saw and felt all of the excitement. I was jumping up and down, screaming and cheering for D3. Patrick told me he had never seen me so excited at an athletic event. I have been hooked on derby ever since and am so pleased to be part of the Des Moines Derby Dames.
